The St. Kitts and Nevis Medicinal Cannabis Authority has opened registration for its first Traditional Cultivator Programme Orientation.
The three-day programme, themed “From Tradition to Opportunity,” is designed to help traditional growers transition into the regulated medicinal cannabis industry.
Training will run from August 20–22 at the Department of Agriculture Conference Room at La Guerite. The registration fee is EC$200, and applications may be submitted online or in person at the Authority’s office.
The sessions will be led by Dr. Machel Emanuel, a senior lecturer and cannabis researcher at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.
The Authority says the programme will provide education, practical training and a structured pathway for local cultivators seeking to operate within the Federation’s licensing framework.
