BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – The government is urging immediate action as the deadline for its Special Immigration Order 2025 approaches.
The Ministry of National Security confirms the window for persons without legal status to regularize their stay will close on May 1st, 2026.
Authorities are calling on all undocumented individuals, as well as those who have started the process but have not completed payment of required fees, to finalize their applications before the cutoff.
Officials warn that failure to comply may result in enforcement under the Federation’s immigration laws.
The Ministry is encouraging affected individuals to visit the Immigration Department promptly, stressing that this is a final opportunity to regularize status before the deadline expires.
